A mining loop with a walk attached. You land, vacuum crystals off the surface, carry what your bag holds back to base and spend it, then go out again slightly better equipped. The terrain gets harder the further you go from the landing site, which turns every trip into the same question: is the bag full enough to justify turning back, or is the next ridge worth the walk. Upgrades are the whole progression and they compound cleanly — a bigger bag makes longer trips worthwhile, a faster gun makes them quicker, and better movement makes the hostile ground survivable. Two players can share the same operation.
| WASD | Move |
|---|---|
| Mouse | Aim the vacuum gun |
| Hold click | Collect crystals |
| E | Deposit at base and buy upgrades |
| Touch | On-screen stick and buttons |
How to play Astro Tycoon
- Upgrade the bag before the gun. Collecting faster is pointless if you have to walk back after thirty seconds.
- Work outward in rings. Clearing the near ground completely is faster than sprinting past it to the interesting parts.
- Deposit before the bag is completely full, because the trip back is when accidents happen.
- Buy movement upgrades once trips start taking longer than collecting does.
- Bring a second player if you can. One collecting and one ferrying roughly doubles the rate.
Tips
- The pets and cosmetics are not upgrades. Spend on capacity and speed first.
- Hostile terrain is usually avoidable rather than survivable, so route around it instead of upgrading through it.
- If progress feels slow, check whether you are walking more than you are mining. That ratio is the whole economy.
Questions about Astro Tycoon
What is the goal?
Building up your mining operation until the far parts of the map are reachable and profitable.
Is there co-op?
Yes, two players can work the same site together.
What do the upgrades change?
Carrying capacity, collection speed and movement, which together decide how far you can profitably go.
Are the pets useful?
They are mostly collectible rather than functional.
Does it play on a phone?
Yes, with on-screen controls.
Is there an ending?
Not a fixed one. The far reaches of the map are the practical goal, and reaching them profitably takes a long chain of upgrades.
