Cookies we set

One, and only after you sign in: a session cookie holding a random token. It is what keeps you signed in, it is marked HttpOnly, and it disappears when you sign out. Guests get no cookie from us at all.

Local storage is not a cookie

Best scores, saved games, favorites and settings live in local storage, which stays in your browser and is never sent with a request. It is the reason a guest can keep a personal best without an account.

Advertising frames

Banner slots load an iframe from our advertising subdomain. The network inside may set cookies and identifiers of its own, under its own policy. In the EU and the UK that happens only after you have given consent, and you can withdraw it at any time from the consent link in the footer.

Clearing everything

Your browser’s “clear site data” for this domain removes all of it: the session cookie, every saved game and every score kept locally. Nothing on the site tries to restore it afterwards.
