A rhythm game with a colour layer on top. Notes arrive on the beat, which is familiar, but each one also has a colour that determines which input it wants — so you are tracking two independent things simultaneously, and the failure mode is hitting the right moment with the wrong hand. That doubling is what gives it a curve. The early tracks separate the two demands, letting you settle into the beat before the colours start alternating quickly, and the later ones deliberately put a colour change on the busiest bar. Because the visuals pulse with the music, the screen is also telling you the timing, which means playing by eye works up to a point and then stops — at which point listening becomes the only way through. Runs are short and the restart is immediate.

How to play Color Rhythm

  1. Learn the beat before worrying about the colours; the timing is the foundation.
  2. Assign a finger to each colour and never move your hand mid-track.
  3. Watch one lane ahead rather than the note arriving now.
  4. Play with sound on — the visuals alone are not enough in the later tracks.
  5. Restart rather than limping through a track; a broken chain is better restarted.

Tips

  • Colour changes are usually placed on beat one of a bar, so expect them at the phrase boundary.
  • When a section overwhelms you, count the rhythm and ignore the colours for one pass.
  • Tracks repeat their patterns, so the second attempt should already feel different.
