A collection of night-shift scenarios rather than a single office, and the common thread is that each one gives you a job to do somewhere you would rather not go. Surviving until six in the morning is the goal, but you cannot do it by sitting still — the tasks require movement, and the movement is what puts you in reach. That is a better structure than passive monitoring because it makes the danger a consequence of your own decisions rather than of a timer. Each scenario has its own threat behaviour and its own task, so the learning does not transfer completely and every new one starts from scratch. The variety keeps it from becoming a routine, which is the usual failure mode of the genre, and the tasks are simple enough that the difficulty is always about when to attempt them rather than how.

How to play FNAF: Help Wanted
- Learn the threat's pattern before attempting the task; the pattern is the schedule you work in.
- Do the far parts of a task early, while the night is quiet.
- Abandon a task halfway rather than finishing it with something approaching.
- Note the hiding places on the way out, not on the way back.
- Treat each scenario as new; the behaviours differ deliberately.
Tips
- The safe spot is safe and useless — progress only happens away from it.
- Half-finished tasks usually have to be restarted, so commit only when the route is clear.
- Sound carries the warnings in every scenario, so audio is not optional.
