A college version of the pixel football formula, and the change of setting changes the strategy completely. Players graduate, which means a roster cannot be kept — every season a proportion of your best people leave regardless of results, and recruiting replacements is the activity the whole game is built around. That makes planning span years rather than seasons. Signing a talented freshman pays off in two years' time, and signing nobody leaves a hole you cannot fill later, so the team you field is always the product of decisions made before the current results existed. Rival programmes compete for the same recruits, and your own prestige determines which ones will consider you — so winning is both the goal and the recruiting tool. On the field it plays the same way: you run the offence, the passing game dominates, and the presentation stays legible. What differs is the pressure, because a bad season costs you recruits as well as points. Games take minutes, a season takes an evening, and the long arc across several seasons is where the game is actually played. It works on a phone and saves reliably.
