An idle defence game with a clicker's economy. Waves of enemies advance on your fortress, you fire missiles at them — manually at first, automatically soon after — and the currency they drop buys the upgrades that let you survive the next wave. The usual incremental loop, applied to a defence line. What makes it work better than a plain clicker is that the failure state is real. A wave that outpaces your damage breaks through and costs you progress, so the purchases have to keep ahead of a curve rather than simply going up, and a badly balanced build stalls in a way that requires rethinking instead of waiting. Damage, fire rate, range and explosive radius interact, and the efficient path keeps them in proportion. It earns while closed, which makes check-in play viable, and there is enough progression behind it — boss waves, new enemy types, a long upgrade ladder — to give a week of short sessions. The presentation is busy but the numbers are clear. It plays one-handed on a phone, saves reliably, and knows what it is: an idle game with a little bit of pressure in it.

How to play Rocket Fortress
- Buy automatic fire as the first upgrade; manual clicking is the opening only.
- Keep damage and fire rate in proportion rather than maximising either.
- Take explosive radius once enemies arrive in groups.
- Spend everything between waves; saved currency does nothing.
- Rethink the build when a wave stalls you rather than grinding the same one.
Tips
- A stalled wave means the build is wrong, not that you need more time.
- Radius upgrades are worth little against single enemies and a lot against groups.
- Offline earnings make short check-ins a reasonable way to play.
