A merging puzzle played inside a physical container. You drop fruit from the top, two of the same size merge into the next size up, and the box has a rim you must not exceed — so the game is a balance between making merges and managing where everything ends up rolling afterwards. The physics are what make it difficult and what make it good. A merge creates a larger fruit at the point of contact, which shifts everything around it, so a sequence of merges can cascade or can push an unmerged fruit up against the rim. The skill is placement rather than matching: keeping large fruit at the bottom, dropping small ones into gaps rather than onto the pile, and resisting the urge to chase a merge that would unsettle a stable stack. There is no timer, so there is room to think about each drop, and the loss is always a gradual accumulation rather than a sudden mistake. Rounds last a few minutes and the score is the largest fruit reached. It plays with one input on a phone, runs on anything, and is one of the most quietly compelling puzzle games of recent years for reasons that are entirely mechanical.
