An endless runner in which running is the one thing you cannot do. Each step has to be placed, the character is barely balanced to begin with, and the pavement is a hazard rather than a surface — sections explode, crack open and give way while your weight is still on them. Getting anywhere is a matter of finding a rhythm and then keeping it while the ground refuses to cooperate. Ghosts of other players' runs walk alongside you, which turns a solitary balance exercise into something closer to a race, and costumes unlock as the distances grow. It looks like a casual game and behaves like a demanding one.

How to play Wacky Steps
- Find a steady alternating rhythm before trying to cover distance. Speed comes from consistency, not from tapping faster.
- Watch the ground two steps ahead. Cracks and charges are visible early and the warning is the whole defence.
- Shorten the stride over broken sections rather than trying to leap them.
- Ignore the ghosts while learning. Racing someone else is how a stable rhythm turns into a fall.
- Restart quickly. The rhythm is muscle memory and it fades in seconds.
Tips
- Falling is almost always caused by a rushed step immediately after a successful hard one. The moment after relief is the dangerous one.
- Costumes change nothing about balance, so do not chase them mid-run.
- If runs end at the same point, the ground there needs a different stride rather than more speed.
