A ball circling an anchor point, and one input that lets go. Released at the right moment it flies to the next anchor and starts circling again; released early or late it misses and the run ends. That is the whole game, and the reason it holds up is that the geometry keeps changing — anchors sit at different distances and angles, so the correct release point is never in the same place twice. The minimalism is doing real work. With nothing on screen except the ball, the anchor and the next target, there is nothing to read and nothing to blame, which makes the failures unusually clear: you released too early, and you know it before the ball has finished travelling. Upgrade levels change the speed and the spacing rather than adding mechanics, so the game gets harder without ever getting more complicated.

How to play Ball Orbit
- Release when the ball is pointing at the next anchor, not when it looks closest to it.
- Watch the target rather than the ball; judging the line is easier from the destination.
- Take the shorter hop when two anchors are available, because a missed long hop ends the run.
- Settle into the rhythm of the circling rather than reacting to each release separately.
- Restart immediately — the timing is muscle memory and it fades in seconds.
Tips
- The ball keeps turning after you decide, so the release has to come a fraction before it feels right.
- Faster levels need earlier releases, which is the whole progression.
- Long gaps look impossible and are usually just a matter of releasing at the tangent.
