Wrestling reduced to weight, momentum and bad decisions. There are no stances to learn and no input strings to memorise; there is a body that responds to physics, a ring with ropes that give, and an opponent doing the same thing badly at the same time. Aerial slams are the most rewarding move and the easiest to miss, which sets up the whole rhythm of a match: somebody commits, somebody punishes, and both of them end up on the floor more often than either intended. It plays against the computer, against a friend on the same keyboard, and online, and the middle option is comfortably the best one.

How to play Wrestle Bros
- Fight from the middle of the ring. The ropes are unpredictable and being near them is rarely an advantage.
- Jump for slams only when the opponent is committed to something else, since a missed aerial leaves you flat.
- Use the opponent's momentum. A shove timed against their jump does far more than a shove into a standing body.
- Get up before attacking. Attacks from the floor are slow and easily punished.
- Play locally with a friend if you can. The format is built for two people arguing over one keyboard.
Tips
- Nothing here is precise, so playing the percentages beats trying to be exact.
- Recovery time after a missed move is the real cost of it, more than any damage taken.
- Against a human, vary the rhythm rather than the moves. There are not many moves and the timing is what gets read.
