3D table tennis game online with a career that circles the globe. You look down the table at a 3D rival, with the crowd and the host country's flags behind them. Twenty countries wait on the tour map, each with three players of rising skill, and the third one guards the trophy. Meet the ball with the paddle and the shot is made; the swing decides the rest. A fast swing is a power shot that lands deep, a brush upwards adds topspin that dives onto the far side, and a sideways sweep bends the ball around the net. Play Online adds a live opponent by quick match or room code.
| Mouse / touch drag | Move the paddle across and up. The ball is struck when it reaches you |
|---|---|
| Swing direction | Sideways aims the shot and adds curve, upwards adds topspin, downwards adds slice |
| Swing speed | A fast swing is a power shot: faster ball, deeper landing, higher risk of going long |
| Tap / click / Space | Serve. Also confirms a menu choice |
| Arrow keys | Move the paddle without a mouse and browse the tour map |
| Play Online | Quick match against a live player, or a private room with a code and a link for a friend |
How to play Table Tennis World Circuit
- Open the tour map and pick the first country. Each country has three opponents: beating one unlocks the next, and beating the third earns the trophy and opens the next stop.
- A match goes to 7 points with a two point lead, capped at 10. Serve changes every two points, and every point once the score is level near the end.
- Position first. Keep the paddle in the ball's path and it is returned on its own. There is no swing button, so where you are matters more than when you press.
- Then shape the shot. Move the paddle sideways at contact and the ball goes that way with sidespin. Move it fast for a power shot that lands near the far edge. Brush upwards for topspin, which lets you hit harder and still keep the ball on the table.
- Lose a match and the run ends with your score. Progress on the map is saved, so next time you return to the same country.
Tips
- Aim away from the opponent's paddle. Later players cover the table quickly, but a ball into the empty corner still forces them to run, and the return comes back weaker.
- Do not swing hard at every ball. A calm block that lands deep costs nothing, and attacker style opponents make their own errors if you keep the ball in play.
- Attack with topspin rather than raw speed. Speed alone goes long; a fast upward brush keeps the pace and dives inside the line.
Questions about Table Tennis World Circuit
How is the game drawn in 3D without a download?
Through WebGL, which every modern browser has built in: real lighting, shadows and an animated opponent. The 3D engine and the player models load only after you press Play, so the page itself stays light.
How do I make a power shot?
Move the paddle fast at the moment the ball arrives. Speed of movement is read as power: the ball leaves quicker and lands deeper, and beyond the edge if you overdo it. The word POWER appears above the paddle.
What does topspin do here?
Brushing upwards through contact adds forward rotation. In the air the ball dips instead of flying long, and after the bounce it skids forward faster and lower. It is what lets a hard shot stay on the table.
How many opponents and countries are there?
Twenty countries with three players each, sixty opponents in all, ordered by strength from Brazil to China. The third player of each country holds its trophy.
Is progress saved?
Yes. Beaten opponents and trophies stay in your browser, and the map opens at the first country you have not completed. The run score counts points, wins and trophies until you lose a match.
Can I play against a friend online?
Yes. Press Play Online on the title screen: quick match finds a waiting player, and Play with a friend creates a private room with a code and a link that drops your friend straight at the table. Online play is in beta and does not count towards the tour.
