A third-person shooter built specifically around construction. You place ramps, walls and floors in the middle of a fight, and the player who reaches high ground first usually wins the exchange — which makes it less a shooting game than a race to build a better position than the person shooting at you. What distinguishes it from others in the format is that it takes practice seriously. There are drills and a free-build mode alongside the competitive matches, so the mechanics can be learned somewhere other than a losing duel, and the keybindings are configurable enough to matter. That combination makes it the version of this format people actually improve at: you can identify which specific thing you are slow at, go and practise it, and come back. Matches are short, respawns are quick, and the skill ceiling is genuinely high.

How to play Build Now GG
- Learn to build ramps while moving backwards before anything else; it is the base skill.
- Answer incoming fire with a wall rather than a dodge, then take height.
- Practise edits in the drill mode rather than in matches, where a failed edit is a death.
- Bind the four build keys somewhere your fingers can reach without moving your hand.
- Take the high ground even at the cost of material — it decides most exchanges.
Tips
- Material is for gaining position, not for hiding. A player who turtles runs out and loses anyway.
- Cones and floors stop somebody taking the height you just paid for.
- Speed of building beats accuracy of aiming in this format, which is unusual and true.
