An auto runner with a colour rule and a slightly larger toolkit than the genre usually allows. The character moves forward by itself and has to match the colour of whatever it is about to land on, but there are also jump pads, double jumps and overhead sections — so the route is a sequence of decisions rather than a single repeated reaction. That variety is what keeps it from becoming a reflex treadmill. Timing still matters, but so does knowing which tool the next obstacle wants, and the levels are built so that the wrong tool applied at the right moment fails just as badly as bad timing. Sections escalate by combining the elements rather than speeding them up, which keeps everything readable, and the restarts are quick enough that learning a route by failing it is the intended approach.

How to play Color Rush

  1. Change colour before the jump, not during it; mid-air changes arrive late.
  2. Learn which sections want a double jump rather than trying to reach everything with one.
  3. Use the pads rather than avoiding them — they are part of the intended route.
  4. Read one obstacle ahead so the colour is already correct when you arrive.
  5. Restart immediately; routes are learned by repetition.

Tips

  • Head-on sections usually want a colour change rather than a jump, which is easy to forget under pressure.
  • The double jump resets your arc, which makes it useful for correcting a bad first jump.
  • If a section keeps failing, you are probably applying the right timing with the wrong tool.
