A shooter that strips out everything except gun mechanics. Bullets land where the crosshair was at the moment you clicked, with no travel time and no drop to compensate for, which makes every miss unambiguously yours. It runs on hardware that would refuse most shooters, and the whole design is arranged so that the gap between opening the tab and being in a gunfight is a few seconds.

How to play Deadshot.io

  1. Aim at head height and let the movement bring targets into it. Adjusting upward mid-fight loses more duels than it wins.
  2. Fire in short bursts. Spread opens quickly and the first two rounds are the accurate ones.
  3. Slide into cover rather than walking. It is faster and it changes your height while you travel.
  4. Reload after every engagement, not during the next one.
  5. Use custom lobbies to practise. A private room is the cheapest way to learn a map's angles.
  6. Take the high ground where a map offers it. Hit-scan rewards a clear line of sight more than it rewards clever movement.
  7. Change position after two kills. Anyone who died to you knows where you were standing.

Tips

  • Because there is no bullet travel, leading a target is a habit worth unlearning. Aim exactly where they are.
  • Sound tells you where the fight is. Play with audio on and you will be surprised how often you are pre-aimed correctly.
  • Lower your sensitivity if you keep overshooting. Most new players are running far too high.
  • Crouch fire is noticeably tighter at range. It costs mobility, which is the trade the game wants you to think about.
