How to play Drive Mad
- Watch the nose of the truck rather than the road. Its angle is what decides whether the next obstacle is survivable.
- Lift off before a crest, not after it. Power over the top is what launches you into a bad landing.
- Use the brake in mid-air. It rotates the vehicle forward and it is the standard fix for a back-heavy jump.
- Approach see-saws slowly and let them settle. Speed across them almost always ends with the truck on its roof.
- Restart instantly rather than trying to recover. Levels are short and a compromised run rarely finishes.

- Most levels have exactly one moment that matters. Find it and the rest of the course becomes routine.
- Gold times generally need one bold shortcut rather than being faster everywhere.
- If the truck keeps flipping backwards, you are holding the throttle through the ramp instead of releasing on it.
