A driving game about a car that does not repair itself. Every scrape and impact on the way down a mountain road stays on the vehicle and changes how it behaves, so a descent that started with clean steering finishes with a car that pulls to one side and brakes unevenly — which means the mistakes you made in the first minute are the ones that kill you in the fourth. That cumulative model is what makes it more interesting than an ordinary mountain drive. There is no lap, no rival and no timer worth worrying about; the only question is whether the car that reaches the bottom is still a car. Gradient and loose surfaces do most of the work, and the correct approach is almost always slower than it feels like it should be, because arriving late in a working vehicle beats arriving early in a damaged one.

How to play Deadly Descent
- Brake before corners in a straight line; weight transfer on a gradient is what puts cars over the edge.
- Treat every scrape as permanent, because it is, and drive to preserve the car rather than the clock.
- Use engine braking on long descents instead of riding the brakes.
- Take the inside on downhill bends where the camber helps rather than the outside line.
- Restart early once the handling has degraded past the point of control.
Tips
- Damage is asymmetric, so a car pulling to one side needs a different line rather than more correction.
- Loose surfaces punish braking mid-corner far more than tarmac does.
- If you keep going over the edge at the same place, you are entering too fast rather than steering badly.
Questions about Deadly Descent
Does damage persist?
Yes, through the whole descent, and it changes handling.
Am I racing anyone?
No, the road and the damage model are the opponents.
Is it a simulator?
Simulation-flavoured rather than strict, with physics that reward real habits.
Does it get harder?
Yes, through gradient and surface.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, with on-screen controls.
Does it need installing?
No, it runs in the browser.
Can I repair the car?
Not mid-descent, which is the point.
