A geography game that is really an observation game. You are dropped into a street-level view of somewhere in the world with no information beyond what you can see, and you place a pin on a map — and the gap between your pin and the truth is the score. Nothing tells you anything; everything has to be read. The skill it develops is genuinely transferable and slightly strange. Which side of the road people drive on, the shape of road signs, the language on a shopfront, the type of vegetation, the colour of the soil, the style of electricity pole — these turn out to be enormously informative once you start noticing them, and the difference between a beginner and an experienced player is almost entirely noticing rather than knowing. Each round takes a few minutes and the good ones stay with you.

- Read any text you can find — language and script narrow it down faster than anything else.
- Look at the vegetation and the soil; climate is a strong signal.
- Follow the road to a junction or a sign rather than guessing from the drop point.
- Place a pin even when uncertain; a continent-level guess scores better than nothing.
Tips
- Electricity poles, bollards and road markings are surprisingly regional and worth learning.
- The sun's position tells you the hemisphere if you can work out the time of day.
- Do not over-explore; a confident guess from one good clue beats five minutes of wandering.
