Two lanes, one ball and one input. Tapping moves the ball from one lane to the other, and red hazards appear in a rhythm that makes staying put and switching equally dangerous depending on the moment. That reduction is deliberate: with only one decision available, the game can escalate speed far past what a more complex control scheme would allow, and it does. The neon presentation makes the hazards readable at speeds where a more detailed game would become unreadable, and the whole thing settles into a rhythm that is closer to a music game than a driving one. Spheres unlock with score and change nothing about the difficulty. There is very little to say about it and that is a compliment. Games this reduced usually run out of interest in a minute, and this one keeps going because the hazard patterns are composed rather than generated at random, so the escalation feels authored. Long runs come to feel like playing a piece of music badly at first and then fluently, which is not an experience one input usually delivers.

How to play Tap Road
- Tap on the rhythm rather than on the hazard. The obstacles fall into patterns and the pattern is easier to follow.
- Look well ahead of the ball. At speed, the hazard you can see clearly is already unavoidable.
- Do not double tap in panic. Two switches usually put you back where the hazard is.
- Accept the escalation. There is no way to slow down, so the plan is to read further rather than react faster.
- Restart at once, because the rhythm is the skill and it fades within seconds.
Tips
- Long runs come from settling into the pattern rather than from fast reactions.
- When two hazards appear close together, decide both switches before the first one arrives.
- Unlockable spheres are cosmetic, so never take a risk to collect anything.
