Traffic Tour

A traffic racing game with a structure around it. That variety is what the career is for. A time trial wants sustained commitment through traffic; a head-to-head race wants you to hold a line and block; a distance run wants conservation. Cars are bought and tuned with earnings, and tuning matters — acceleration suits the shorter events and top speed suits the long ones, so a single vehicle setup will not carry the whole career. Events take a couple of minutes each and the progression is steady rather than grinding. The presentation is clean with traffic readable at speed, and there is enough content to last several sessions. It plays with four inputs on a keyboard or tilt on a phone, needs a moderately capable machine, and is the most structured of the traffic driving games rather than the most intense. The free ride mode deserves a mention of its own: no objective, no clock, just the road and the traffic, which is a reasonable place to learn a new car's handling before taking it into an event that depends on knowing it.
