Tube Fight

A physics brawler where the only way to win is to put somebody in a hole. There are no health bars and no damage accumulation; there is a platform with a pit below it, loose physics bodies, and hits that transfer momentum — so a round can end in the first exchange if the angle was right. That makes it a game of positioning rather than aggression. Swinging wildly commits your own momentum, which a patient opponent simply steps around, and the reliable win is to let somebody overcommit near the edge and add a push. Because both fighters are loose-limbed, nobody has precise control, and the rounds are consequently short and slightly absurd. It is built for two people on one keyboard, which is where the format belongs — reading a person's commitment is the whole skill and a computer opponent commits on a pattern. Rounds last seconds, the restart is immediate, and a match runs to a total so the swings are constant. It runs on very weak hardware, plays with three inputs per player, and is exactly as serious as a game about pushing people into a pit should be. The internet-personality framing is decoration and makes no difference to the game underneath, which is a small physics arena built around one win condition. Judged on that it is well tuned and over quickly.
