How to play Agar.io
- Eat pellets until you are comfortably above the smallest players. Hunting too early loses more mass than it gains.
- Watch the size of everything near you constantly. The threat is always the cell you did not check.
- Split to catch, never to escape. A split cell is two slow halves.
- Use the map edges and the spike cells as walls; a larger chaser cannot follow you past either safely.
- Recombine before moving across open space, because split halves are eaten separately.
Tips
- Mass slows you down, so the biggest cell in the dish is also the easiest to avoid.
- Feeding mass to a teammate is a real strategy in team modes and a waste in free-for-all.
- When cornered by something larger, move towards a spike cell. They will not follow.
