A snake arena with more around it than the format usually carries. The core is familiar and sound — grow by eating, die by running into anybody, and kill by making somebody run into you — but there is also a progression layer, a set of abilities and a world with things in it beyond other players, which gives a session somewhere to go beyond the leaderboard. The core tension is unchanged and remains the best thing about this shape of game: length is a liability. A long snake turns slowly, is easy to cut off, and leaves an enormous meal when it dies, so success makes you a target. That means the interesting decisions are about when to stop growing and start hunting, and the players who hold the top of the board are the ones who understood that being biggest is not the same as being safest. What the extra layers add is a reason to come back rather than a reason to stay in one round. Abilities unlock over time and change how you approach a crowd, and because they carry between sessions the game rewards returning in a way the plainer versions of the format never do.

How to play Little Big Snake
- Eat what is loose before hunting anything; early length is cheap.
- Kill by cutting across the front of a rival, never by chasing.
- Boost sparingly, because it costs mass and telegraphs your intent.
- Circle the mass left by a kill rather than diving into it, since everybody else is arriving too.
- Stay near the edges while small and move inward only when you can afford a mistake.
Tips
- Large snakes turn slowly, which is why a small one can kill a large one and rarely the reverse.
- If you are being circled, boost through the gap immediately rather than waiting.
- The safest food is the mass nobody else has noticed yet.
