Basketball played by two floppy figures with one button between them. Pressing it jumps and swings depending on where you are, so every action is the same action and the skill is entirely in timing it. Then, after every single point, the game reshuffles: the court changes, the players change, the ball changes, and sometimes gravity stops behaving. That reshuffling is the whole design and it is why the game works as a two-player fixture. No lead feels safe, no strategy survives a basket, and nobody can claim a better setup because the setup lasts exactly one point. Against the computer it is entertaining; on one keyboard with somebody else it is the kind of game that produces arguments about whether that last basket counted, which is the highest compliment this format can be paid.

How to play Basket Random

  1. Time the press to the ball rather than pressing constantly; spamming leaves you airborne when it matters.
  2. Play the rebound, because with physics this loose the second contact decides most points.
  3. Stand under the basket when defending rather than jumping at the ball.
  4. Re-read the setup after every point; the previous tactic may now be exactly wrong.
  5. Play the second slot with somebody beside you — that is the mode this was built for.

Tips

  • On low-gravity setups, press later; everything takes longer to arrive.
  • Baskets scored by accident count the same as intentional ones, which is worth remembering when choosing where to stand.
  • Do not build a rhythm too firmly — the next point will break it.
