A driving game where speed is the enemy. The egg sits loose on the back of the car with nothing holding it in place, so acceleration sends it backwards and braking sends it forwards, and the hilly terrain adds a third direction to worry about. Every input is therefore a negotiation between making progress and keeping the cargo. The design is unusually cruel about it: the terrain gets steeper the further you go, and the fuel that keeps you moving is placed in positions that require you to take a slightly worse line to reach it. Five cars unlock with distance and handle differently enough to matter. The pacing is what makes it work. Runs are short, restarts are instant, and each attempt gives you a clear sense of the exact hill where the last one went wrong. Distance milestones unlock further cars, and because each handles differently the progression quietly resets the challenge rather than trivialising it.

How to play Eggy Car
- Accelerate in short pulses rather than holding. Constant power is what rolls the egg off the back.
- Crest hills slowly. The drop on the far side is where most eggs are lost.
- Let the car settle after a bump before adding power again.
- Take fuel that lies on your line and skip anything that would need a hard change of speed.
- Restart rather than nursing a run that has already lost its rhythm.
Tips
- Downhill sections are the dangerous ones, because gravity does the accelerating for you.
- Later cars are not simply better; some are faster and much harder to keep the egg on.
- If the egg keeps falling forward, you are braking rather than lifting off. Lift first.
Questions about Eggy Car
Is the egg attached?
No, that is the entire game. It sits loose and responds to every change in speed.
What ends a run?
Losing the egg, or running out of fuel.
How many cars are there?
Five, unlocked by distance, with different handling.
Does the terrain get harder?
Yes, steeper and less forgiving the further you travel.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, two pedals map cleanly to touch.
Is it a racing game?
Not against anyone. It is a distance and balance challenge.
