The winter variant, and like the night version it changes a system rather than a skin. The roads are iced, which means grip is minimal: steering inputs take effect late, braking barely works, and the car continues in roughly the direction it was already going regardless of what you asked for. That forces a completely different technique from the dry versions. Everything has to be initiated much earlier, corrections have to be small because large ones start a slide that will not stop, and the correct racing line is the one that needs the least steering rather than the shortest. Hazards are the same and the pursuit behaves the same; the ice is what makes it a different game, and it is the rare seasonal variant where the theme is actually the mechanic rather than a coat of paint.
