Poxel.io

New
Blocky voxel arena with players fighting in a fast browser shooter
  • Genre Action games
  • Players 1–2
  • Session 7 min
  • Price Free

A blocky free-for-all with the waiting removed. There is no lobby, no rank to grind and no objective beyond the scoreboard on the side of the screen. Maps are deliberately small, so the distance between spawning and being shot at is a few seconds, and death costs nothing but position. What is left is a pure aim-and-movement loop that either clicks with you in the first minute or does not.

How to play Poxel.io

  1. Keep moving from the moment you spawn. A stationary player in a map this size is a target for three people at once.
  2. Learn the two or three sightlines on each map. Long lanes belong to the rifles and corners belong to everything else.
  3. Reload in cover rather than in the open. The habit is worth more kills than any improvement in aim.
  4. Break away when your health is low. Respawning costs a second, dying to a chaser costs a place on the board.
  5. Check behind you at every corner. In a free-for-all everyone is a threat and there are no friendly flanks.

Tips

  • Weapon choice matters less than position. A good angle with the starting gun beats a bad angle with the best one.
  • Fights you did not start are the ones to join. Two players already shooting each other are both easy targets.
  • The scoreboard updates live, so play the last minute differently from the first: protect a lead rather than chasing one more kill.

Questions about Poxel.io

Are the opponents real players?

Yes, the arena fills with other people online, which is why the pace changes from one session to the next.

Is there anything to unlock?

Very little, and that is the point. The game is built for a quick session rather than a progression grind.

Do I need a good computer?

The blocky art style keeps it light, so it runs on far weaker machines than most shooters.

How do teams work?

There are none. Everybody is playing against everybody, and the scoreboard is individual.
