A puzzle game built entirely on selection. Each level presents a scene, a target going about their business, and several objects you could use — and only one of them produces the chain of events the level wants. There is no dexterity involved at all; the whole game is working out what the scene is set up to do. What makes it more than guesswork is that the scenes telegraph their answers. Something in the environment is always positioned to be disturbed, and the right object is the one that interacts with it rather than the one that looks most directly useful. Once you learn to read a level as a mechanism rather than as a picture, the solutions become visible, and the levels that remain hard are the ones with two plausible mechanisms. Levels take under a minute, there is no penalty for trying the wrong thing, and the comedy of the failed attempts is part of the point. It is a light game, finishable across a few sittings, and suitable for younger players since nothing in it requires timing. It plays with taps on a phone, runs on anything, and saves progress.

How to play Prankster 3D
- Read the scene for what is positioned to be disturbed rather than for the obvious tool.
- Try the object that interacts with the environment, not the one aimed at the target.
- Watch a failed attempt through; it usually shows what the scene wanted.
- Eliminate objects that do nothing to anything else in the room.
- Restart freely — there is no penalty for a wrong choice.
Tips
- The right object interacts with the scenery, not directly with the target.
- Failed attempts are informative and funny, which is why there is no penalty.
- Levels with two plausible mechanisms are the ones worth slowing down for.
