One of the most durable puzzle formats there is, and the reason is the second rule most players discover late: matching three bubbles clears them, but anything that was hanging from them falls too. So the strong play is rarely the obvious match — it is the one that removes the bubble holding up a whole cluster. Once that clicks the game changes from colour-matching into structure-reading, and the bank shot becomes essential: firing into the wall to reach behind a cluster is how you get at the bubble you actually want. The board descends as you fail to clear, which supplies the pressure, and because there is no timer the whole thing rewards looking for the drop rather than taking the easy pair in front of you.

How to play Bubble Shooter

  1. Look for the bubble that is supporting a cluster rather than the nearest match.
  2. Use the walls. A bank shot reaches places a direct shot cannot.
  3. Clear from the sides inward to keep the board from spreading.
  4. Hold a colour you do not need by firing it somewhere harmless rather than into the middle.
  5. Watch the next bubble in the queue and plan two shots at a time.

Tips

  • Dropped bubbles score far more than cleared ones, which is the whole strategy in one sentence.
  • A colour with only two on the board is a colour to get rid of deliberately.
  • If the board is descending fast, take clearance over score.

Questions about Bubble Shooter

What clears bubbles?

Three or more of a colour touching, and anything hanging from them drops as well.

Is there a timer?

No, only the descending board.

What is a bank shot?

Firing off a wall to reach behind a cluster, which is essential in the later levels.

Does it get harder?

Yes, through colour count and board layout.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, aiming is a tap.

Does it need installing?

No, it runs in the browser.

Are there special bubbles?

Later levels introduce a few, and they mostly widen a clear rather than replacing the need to find the supporting bubble.
