One cat, one brush and a temper. Each stroke adds to your score while the cat tolerates it, and the whole game is reading the moment tolerance runs out. There are warning signs — a twitch, a shift, the beginning of a turn — and they arrive with about as much notice as they would from a real cat, which is to say not much. Stopping voluntarily banks what you have. Continuing one stroke too long loses it. That is the entire loop and it is unreasonably compelling, because the cost of being greedy is always visible and always ignored.

How to play Brush Jjaemu
- Watch the ears and the shoulders rather than the score. The tells arrive there first.
- Brush in steady strokes rather than fast ones. Speed does not add points and it hides the warning signs.
- Bank early while learning. A modest score kept teaches the tells better than a large score lost.
- Notice the rhythm of the warnings. They are not random and the patterns repeat between attempts.
- Stop immediately at the first sign of a turn. There is no partial credit for stopping halfway.
Tips
- The temptation to add one more stroke is the game. Recognising that is most of the skill.
- Different areas have different patience, so a stroke that was safe a moment ago may not be.
- Short attempts repeated teach faster than long careful ones, because the tells only appear near the limit.
