You are a hole, and everything above you is food. The rule is size: a bench goes down immediately, a car needs a little more, a house needs considerably more, and a rival hole that has been eating faster than you will swallow you whole. Rounds are short, which turns the opening thirty seconds into the important part — whoever finds the dense clutter first spends the rest of the round eating things nobody else can reach.

How to play Hole Arena
- Head straight for clutter at the start. Fences, benches and bins are worth little individually and everything collectively.
- Do not chase rivals early. A hole your own size is a stalemate that wastes the seconds you should be spending on scenery.
- Move up a tier as soon as something bigger becomes edible. Cars are worth many benches and buildings are worth many cars.
- Keep to the edges when you are behind. The centre is where the largest hole hunts.
- Swallow a smaller rival the moment you can. It is the single fastest jump in mass available.
Tips
- Track the leaderboard rather than the map. Knowing whether you can eat the hole in front of you is more useful than knowing where it is.
- Parked rows of cars are the best value in the middle game because they sit close together.
- In the last ten seconds take the risk. Second place scores the same as fifth.

Everything you swallow adds to your mass, and mass decides what you are allowed to swallow next. It is a straight ladder from small objects to buildings.

Yes, by any hole larger than you, which is why staying away from the leader matters as much as eating quickly.
